REQUEST:
Attached for your review and consideration is a proposal from MUSCO Lighting, LLC, in the amount not to exceed $39,265.00 for our Gymnasium Sports Lighting Replacement Project. The proposal includes the same conditions and unit pricing as the current Clay County RFP #18/19-2. The usage of this proposal and pricing is in accordance with the City's purchasing procedures and guidelines.
DISCUSSION:
The Recreation and Aquatic Center’s current gymnasium lighting system is thirteen years old and the components involved with this system are an older, less efficient technology. This purchase was identified in the City’s current Capital Improvement Program and would upgrade our current lighting system with new, more efficient LED lights which would improve the safety and energy efficiency of our gymnasium facility. This proposal also includes a ten year warranty which includes all labor and materials.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the proposal is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
This purchase is identified in the City's current Capital Improvement Program. Funding is available in the Parks and Recreation 5-Year Capital Equipment/Improvement Program Fund Account No. 001-092-4-6299.
