RE:2017 Wayfinding Project - Phase 2 Project Closeout

REQUEST:

The request of staff for the City Council is to review and consider for approval the attached deductive change order in the amount of $3,448.75 and the final pay request in the amount of $91,794.70 submitted by Poblocki Sign Company, Incorporated.



DISCUSSION
:

As City Council may recall, the 2017 Wayfinding Project was divided into two phases.  Phase 1 was completed by Arete Industries and included several monument signs and facility signs.  Phase 2 was awarded to Poblocki Sign Company, Incorporated on February 19, 2019 at a regular scheduled City Council meeting.  Sign elements in phase 2 included several monument signs, facility signs, and directional/guide signs.  Additional posts and bases added to the City stock inventory to be used as replacements when posts are damaged out in the field.  A Sims Park kiosk sign, letter modifications, a Gateway Monument sign located at Main St. and US Hwy 19, and an LED board added to the monument sign located at Main St. and River Rd.   




RECOMMENDATION:

Approval the deductive change order and final pay request is recommended.

 




BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:

Funding is identified in the City’s current Capital Improvement plan for the 2017 Wayfinding Project Phase 2 as Penny for Pasco Tax Dollars.
