REQUEST:
The Board is asked to review and approve the following amendment to the FY 19/20 Adopted Budget, which totals $101,780 and would allow for the following:

cover costs incurred developing a branding strategy
-
engage a consultant to develop a Master Plan for US Hwy 19 & Entryway into City
-
cover costs of trash removal expenses associated with property purchased during the fiscal year
-
cover increased insurance costs of CRA related property
-
engage a consultant to develop design for US Hwy 19/Main St. Gateway Entrance
The projects, where the funds are coming from, are being deferred until next fiscal year; thereby, making those funds available for use.
DISCUSSION:
As stated in the City’s Purchasing Policy, any significant or capital purchases or improvements that are not part of the original budget must go before the Board for approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board approve the attached amendment to the FY 19/20 Adopted Budget, which totals $100,780 and would allow for the items listed above.
BUDGET / FISCAL IMPACT:
The adjustment results in the transfer of $100,780 within the CRA Fund. Therefore, there is no effect to the overall budgeted amount for the CRA. | | | |
