REQUEST:
The request of staff for the City Council consideration is to review and consider for approval, the attached final pay request submitted by Southern Road & Bridge, LLC of Tarpon Springs in the amount not to exceed $145,883 for the cleaning and painting of storage tanks and miscellaneous structures located at the City’s WWTP. The total cost of the project is $271,663.
DISCUSSION:
Deliverables for this project included the remediation of 10 WWTP storage. The remediation process included the removal of existing peeling paint, the repairing of horizontal cracking of the exterior tank walls, and existing caulking failures, and the painting of the storage tanks. In addition, several miscellaneous structures were included as well.
RECOMMENDATION:
The action recommended by staff to City Council is to approve the final pay application.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Project funding is included in the WWTP’s budget account No. 401112-46399 and 401111-46299. | | | |
