REQUEST:
The request is for the Board of Directors to conduct a discussion regarding bringing targeted businesses to the downtown.


DISCUSSION:

At your meeting on August 4, 2020, Director Altman requested to have a discussion regarding bringing targeted businesses to the downtown that were outlined in the Retail Market Analysis performed by the Gibbs Planning Group. Director Altman also requested that the recommendations presented by Arnett Muldrow and Associates in February of this year be included in the discussion. 

 

To aid in your discussion, the Retail Market Analysis report by the Gibbs Planning Group and the retail market analysis portion of the presentation by Arnett Muldrow and Associates are attached for reference. 




RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the Board of Directors conduct the discussion related to targeted businesses as requested.
