REQUEST:
City Council is requested to review and approval the Architectural and Engineering Design Services Proposal for the Meadows Park Improvement Project from Wannemacher Jensen Architects, Inc.
DISCUSSION:
Wannemacher Jensen Architects, Inc. is on the list of pre-approved architectural firms to conduct services for the City. Attached please find the proposal in the amount of $49,000 for architectural and engineering services for upgrades to the Meadows Park for removal and replacement of the existing playground, replacement of the existing fence around the playground and dog park, installation of sod in the dog park area, parking lot upgrades and signage improvements. The scope of the project will include Master Planning Park Improvements, Architectural Construction Documents, Assistance with Permitting and Bidding, Surveying Services, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering, Landscaping Architecture and Conducting Public Meetings.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve the Architectural and Engineering Design Services Proposal for the Meadows Park Improvement Project from Wannemacher Jensen Architects, Inc. in the amount of $49,000.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding is available for the project in the City's Capital Improvement Plan in the amount of $50,000. | | | |
