REQUEST:
Staff requests that the City Council review and approve the amended Comprehensive Fee Schedule for FY2020-2021.
DISCUSSION:
As part of an annual review, City Staff reviewed the existing schedule of fees and are proposing the following changes for FY2020-2021:

Library Services – changes to fees for library fines and late charges, special collections meeting room usage, and collection agency charges.

Development – A complete review of fees were performed; fees that were allowed by Code, but didn’t have an established fee were added to the Schedule; certain fees were increased, based on current conditions and comparability to other municipalities in the surrounding area

Fire - certain fees were increased, based on current conditions and comparability to other municipalities in the surrounding area
These changes have been highlighted in Blue in the attached schedule of fees.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2020-41, which approves the Consolidated Fee Schedule for FY2021.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
If approved, the amounts approved will be incorporated in the FY2020-2021 Operating Budget and will be utilized throughout the upcoming fiscal year. | | | |
