REQUEST:
The request of staff for City Council is to review and consider for approval the attached change order from Augustine Construction Inc. in the amount not to exceed $66,108.05 for the construction of additional project elements requested by City Council.
DISCUSSION:
As City Council is aware, during the construction phase of the Gloria Swanson Parking Lot project City Council directed staff to incorporate design elements within the Hacienda Hotel sidewalk on the east side of the structure. These elements included hardscape items such as pavers and lighted pedestals reflecting famous movie stars of the twenties that help make New Port Richey the Hollywood of the east. The attached change order is for the construction of those design improvements requested.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the attached change order is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds for this project are identified as Penny for Pasco Tax Dollars | | | |
