The purpose of this agenda item is for City Council to review a conceptual design option for streetscape of Railroad Square and to provide comment. As Council is aware, city staff has been working with Wannamacher Jensen Architects, Inc. in regard to specific revitalization goals for Railroad Square in order to refresh the area and reclaim it as the coveted public space it should be.  At this point, some of the proposed project elements include: relocation of the overhead utilities, establishment of shade structures and café style lighting, and various hardscape and landscape improvements.  In order to further define the project the architect would like to present a conceptual design option to City Council and receive comment.
