RE:Recreation & Aquatic Center Annual Membership Drive

REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review and approve a discount of twenty percent (20%) off of annual memberships to the Recreation and Aquatic Center for its Annual Membership Drive.

DISCUSSION:

Each December and January, the Recreation and Aquatic Center conducts a Membership Drive.  The practice has proven to be an effective marketing tool for the facility.  Staff proposes the following sale costs for annual memberships:

 

Resident Youth:              Regular Price:  $135        Sale Price:  $108.01

Resident Senior:              Regular Price:  $168        Sale Price:  $134.40

Resident Adult:               Regular Price:  $202        Sale Price:  $161.59

Resident Family:             Regular Price:  $403        Sale Price:  $322.40

Non-Resident Youth:       Regular Price:  $168        Sale Price:  $134.40

Non-Resident Senior:       Regular Price:  $210        Sale Price:  $168.00

Non-Resident Adult:        Regular Price:  $252        Sale Price:  $201.61

Non-Resident Family:      Regular Price:  $504        Sale Price:  $403.20

 

The Membership Drive would take place from December 20, 2020 until January 19, 2021 to encourage new membership purchases and for membership renewals. 



RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the discount of twenty percent (20%) for annual memberships to the Recreation & Aquatic Center as requested.

No funding is required for this item.
