REQUEST:
The City Council is asked to review and approve the following amendments to the FY21 Adopted Budget, which would allow for the following:

Acceptance of $50 donation from long time library patron and city resident to be used to purchase more Large Print Titles.

Acceptance of $35 donation from Quincy Public Library in memory of library member Mary Fanelli.
DISCUSSION:
The City’s Purchasing Policy states that a receipt not anticipated in the budget or received for a particular purpose, including but not limited to grants, donations, or gifts, must be approved by City Council.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council approve the attached amendment to the FY21 Adopted Budget.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The amendment that allows for the acceptance of donations results in an overall increase of $85 to the General Fund’s Operating Budget. | | | |
