REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Amber Blais to the Environmental Committee.
DISCUSSION:
On January 4, 2021 Ms. Amber Blais submitted an application seeking membership to the Environmental Committee. Ms. Blais previously served as a second alternate on the Committee from July 15, 2014 until her resignation on December 27, 2015. If approved, Ms. Blais' term would be for two years and would be up for renewal on March 2, 2023. Staff has verified that Ms. Blais meets the requirements set forth in the ordinance to serve on this committee. With this appointment, it leaves one regular member position and two alternate member positions open on the committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Amber Blais to the Environmental Committee as submitted and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
