REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to conduct a first reading of an ordinance which adopts the amended updates to Chapter 8, Section 8-1 of the City of New Port Richey Code of Ordinances, Fire Prevention and Fire Protection Codes Adopted.
DISCUSSION:
The amendments to Chapter 8 Section 8-1 of the City of New Port Richey Codes of Ordinances, Fire Prevention and Fire Protection being proposed are necessary updates to the codes adopted which accurately identify the current codes used by the New Port Richey Fire Department for enforcement of fire prevention standards set forth by the State of Florida office of the State Fire Marshal.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff requests that City Council conduct the first reading of an ordinance which adopts the amended updates to Chapter 8, Section 8-1 of the City of New Port Richey Code of Ordinances, Fire Prevention and Fire Protection Codes Adopted as submitted.
