REQUEST:
The Board is asked to review and approve the following amendment to the FY21 Adopted Budget, which would allow for the following:
-
recognition of additional Tax Increment Funding received by the County and the General Fund
-
additional costs related to developer incentives, the Bicycle Trails Improvement project, purchase of the electric shuttle
-
allocate money for future property purchases, if any
DISCUSSION:
The City’s Purchasing Policy states that a receipt of funds not anticipated in the budget must be approved by City Council. It also states that any significant or capital purchases or improvements that are not part of the original budget must go before the Board for approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board approve the attached amendment to the FY21 Adopted Budget, which would allow for the items listed above.
BUDGET / FISCAL IMPACT:
The approved budget amendment will be incorporated into the adopted budget. | | | |
