REQUEST:
The request is for the Board of Directors to conduct a discussion regarding the proposed redevelopment of the former Walden Pond property.
DISCUSSION:
The Executive Director has been in discussions for some time now with the owner of the former Walden Pond property, Mr. Santosh Govindaraju. Mr. Govindaraju is interested in transforming the property into a new 96 unit multi-family residential condominium development. Staff is requesting that the Board of Directors discuss the proposed project in order to obtain direction as to what type of economic incentives may be appropriate for this project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Board of Directors conduct the discussion regarding the proposed redevelopment of the former Walden Pond property as requested.
BUDGET / FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this item once finalized will be available in the CRA Budget. | | | |
