David Nelson of Nelson’s Pest Control, Inc. and the owner of 7940 Rutillio Court, applied to the City to rezone the property from General Commercial (C-2) to Light Industrial (LI). The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for the operation of a roofing company at the subject property.
The subject property is located within an existing light industrial area to the south of Orchid Lake Road. The subject property is currently designated as Light Industrial within the City’s adopted Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan. Rezoning the subject property to Light Industrial is fully compliant with the currently adopted Light Industrial Future Land Use.
