REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council approval to upgrade the lighting and electronics on the police boat using Equitable Sharing monies at a total cost of $3,720.39.
DISCUSSION:
The emergency lighting and siren systems on the police boat have deteriorated and require replacement. The repairs and equipment installation will be accomplished by Enforcement One, Inc. -- 381 Roberts Road, Oldsmar, FL 34677. The total cost is $3,720.39.
RECOMMENDATION:
I recommend Council authorize the use of Equitable Sharing monies to cover the costs of these upgrades to our police boat.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
There will not be a direct affect to the Department's FY 2021-2022 Budget as Equitable Sharing monies will be used. | | | |
