RE:New Port Richey Rotaract's Craft Beer and Wine Festival Alcohol Beverage Special Event

REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review the Alcohol Special Event Application for beer and wine to be served in Sims Park for the New Port Richey Rotaract's Craft Beer and Wine Festival.

DISCUSSION:

The Special Event Team met to review the Special Event Application including the Alcohol Beverage Special Event Application for the Rotaract's Craft Beer and Wine Festival at a meeting on March 15, 2022. 

 

The New Port Richey Rotaract Organization has requested to serve beer and wine to patrons at this ticketed event that's purpose is to fundraise for the New Port Richey Rotaract Club, and promote local business.

 

The event will be held in Sims Park on Saturday June 4, 2022 from 5pm - 8pm at which ticketed patrons will visit vendor booths and try samples of the vendors Beer and Wine.



RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve the Alcohol Beverage Special Event Permit Application submitted by the New Port Richey Rotaract Club for the organization's Craft Beer and Wine Festival.  Approval of the application will allow beer and wine to be served, in Sims Park, to the patrons of this ticketed event.
