Tonight’s work session is a presentation of the development design/conceptual phase of the Grand Boulevard Multi Use Path (MUP) Project. This proposed project is included in the City’s Parks & Recreation’s Master Plan and in the City’s current Capital Improvement Program as a multi-year phased project.  Phase I of the proposed project is for the development design/conceptual phase of the project to be performed in this year’s fiscal year.  At this point it is expected that the project will connect to the City’s existing MUP on Marine Parkway between US Highway 19 and Grand Boulevard and then proceed north along Grand Boulevard to Delaware Avenue and head east to Madison Street north and connect to the City’s existing MUP from Main Street to Massachusetts Avenue where the trail will connect to the County’s existing Starkey Trail north and the existing Pinellas Trail to the south.
