REQUEST:
The request of staff for Council is for the review and approval of the attached Utility Service Agreement between the City and Joseph Resnick (Developer), for the existing developed site known as Premier Health Care Medical Clinic New Port Richey.
DISCUSSION:
The existing developed site consists of the construction of one 24,000 square feet building structure. The site is located at 5957 Rowan Road, in unincorporated Pasco County outside the City’s corporate limits and the City’s service area. Due to the fact that Pasco County Utilities did not have the ability to service the site, Pasco County Utility has agreed to allow the City to be the utility service provider for water and sewer for the development. The location is depicted in the agreement as Exhibit A. The agreement requires the Developer to construct the utility system in accordance with the City’s Utility Standards prior to the City’s acceptance of ownership. The Developer shall bear all costs associated with connecting into the City's existing water and sewer utility systems.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Utility Service Agreement is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
