REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to recognize John Fussell as the Florida Recreation and Park Association 2015 Parks Professional Award Recipient.
DISCUSSION:
On September 3, 2015, Mr. Fussell was presented with the 2015 Parks Professional Award from the Florida Recreation and Park Association. The award is presented annually to one Parks Employee in the State. The application referred to Mr. Fussell as an employee that exemplifies the mission of the department and someone that works well with the public. It was also noted that local groups seek his assistance with their projects for the betterment of the City of New Port Richey.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council recognize and congratulate Mr. Fussell for being honored by the Florida Recreation and Park Association.
