REQUEST:
The City Council is asked to review and approve the following amendment to the FY22 Adopted Budget, which would allow for the following:
- acceptance of a contribution from the Friends of the Library, in the amount of $2,584.53, to go toward the purchase of the Barco Buddy Benches
- acceptance of a contribution from Tom O'Neil, in the amount of $500, to go toward the purchase of a new sign for the Wastewater Treatment Plant
DISCUSSION:
The City’s Purchasing Policy states that a receipt not anticipated in the budget or received for a particular purpose, including but not limited to grants, donations, or gifts, must be approved by City Council.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council approve the accompanying amendment to the FY2022-2023 Adopted Budget.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The amendment allows for the acceptance of contributions, which results in an overall increase of $2,584.53 to the General Fund’s Operating Budget and $500 to the Water & Sewer Fund's Operating Budget. | | | |
