REQUEST:
The action requested of City Council is to review and consider the approval of the attached proposals from Top Line Recreation Inc., in the amount not to exceed $185,625.03. The proposal contains pricing in accordance with the current Saint John’s County School District Contract No.2022-16.
DISCUSSION:
As the City Council is aware, Grand Blvd. Park is located on the N.W. corner of Riverview Dr. and Grand Blvd. The park is considered a “pocket” park for the surrounding residential neighborhoods in the area and is used frequently. It is expected that the proposed improvements will compliment the proposed construction of the City’s planned Grand Blvd. multi-use path and improve the quality of life for residents living in the City.
Improvement Elements for the project include:

The installation of a shade structure over the playground area.

The removal and replacement of the existing playground equipment.

The removal of the existing playground area much and the installation of a padded surface.

Parking lot shell refurbishing.

Exterior lighting improvements.
-
Bench and trash receptacle removal and replacements where needed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the attached proposals is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
This project is included in the City’s 2022-2023 Capital Improvement Program and identified as Penny for Pasco Tax Dollars.
