REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to conduct a first reading of an ordinance to provide for outdoor cooking within the downtown area during special events within the city.
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this agenda item is to authorize sidewalk and street café permittees to cook food outdoors within the sidewalk or street café in accordance with the approved sidewalk or street café permit during special events approved by the City.
The Land Development Review Board reviewed this item at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 15, 2022 and recommended approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council conduct the first reading as requested.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
