REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to approve the recommendation from the Cultural Affairs Committee to provide assistance with funding in the amount or $5,000 to offset the associated cost with the event.
DISCUSSION:
Keep Pasco Beautiful: Upcycle and Art Festival event is to be held at Sims Park on November 5, 2022 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The event offers an art education component that lends to environmental stewardship and awareness. The proposed request before City Council is to approve the recommendation from the Cultural Affairs Committee to provide assistance with funding in the amount or $5,000 to offset cost with the event. The Gloria Swanson Parking Lot will not be closed to accommodate event.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is for approval of the recommendation from the Cultural Affairs Committee to provide funding support for the Keep Pasco Beautiful: Upcycle and Art Festival.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this request in the amount of $5,000 is available in the Cultural Affairs Committee budget acct. no 001011-44810. | | | |
