REQUEST:
The City Council is asked to review and approve the following amendment to the FY23 Adopted Budget, which would allow for the acceptance of a donation from Rotary Club of New Port Richey, in the amount of $1,000. The proceeds will cover the costs for purchasing personal hygiene products to be disbursed to local schools.
DISCUSSION: The City’s Purchasing Policy states that a receipt not anticipated in the budget or received for a particular purpose, including but not limited to grants, donations, or gifts, must be approved by City Council.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council approve the attached amendments to the FY23 Adopted Budget.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: The amendment that allows for the acceptance of the grant results in an overall increase of $1,000 to the General Fund’s Operating Budget. | | | |
