The request of staff for City Council is to review and consider for approval the attached deductive change in the amount of ($29,542.73) the final pay request in the amount not to exceed $77,294.76 submitted by SC Signature Construction Corp. for the completion of the 2020 Frances Ave. Park Shelter Improvements Project.  Total construction cost of the project is $352,802.73

As City Council may recall, in March of this year the City contracted with SC Signature Construction Corp. to construct and complete the 2020 Frances Ave. Park Shelter Improvements Project.  The scope of work for this project included the replacement of the park’s three picnic shelters, updating existing walkways, and landscaping improvements.  Of important note is that this final pay application includes a deductive change order resulting in the savings of $29,542.73, bringing the original contract amount of $382,345.46 down to $352,802.73.
