REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to consider the appointment of Bertell Butler, IV to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
Bertell Butler, IV has submitted his application seeking membership on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. If approved, Mr. Butler's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on February 7, 2025. Staff has verified that Mr. Butler meets the requirements set forth in the City's Code to serve on this board. With this appointment, that leaves two member positions and two alternate members positions open on the Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council consider the appointment of Bertell Butler, IV to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as submitted and accept the attached updated roster if his appointment is accepted.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
