RE:2023 Chasco Fiesta Alcoholic Beverage Special Event

REQUEST:

The request before City Council is to review the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Applications for beer and wine to be sold in Sims Park for the Chasco Fiesta during the festival dates in March and April 2023. 



DISCUSSION:

The Special Event Team met to review the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application for Chasco Fiesta at their regular meeting on January 17, 2023.  Chasco Fiesta intends to offer beer and wine to be sold in Sims Park as follows:  Friday, March 24th 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Saturday, March 25th 1:00pm - 11:00pm, Sunday, March 26th 1:00pm - 9:00pm / Monday,  March 27th 5:00pm-11:00pm, Tuesday, March 28th 5:00pm -11:00pm, Wednesday, March 29th 5:00pm - 11:00 pm / Thursday, March 30th 5:00pm - 11:00pm, Friday, March 31st 4:00pm -11:00pm, Saturday, April 1st 1:00pm - 11:00pm.

 

A site map denoting the locations where beer and wine will be sold is attached.  

 

A Certificate of Insurance to include liquor liability  and listing the city as additional insured will be obtained from the event organizer prior to the event.

 

 

 



RECOMMENDATION:

The recommendation before City Council is to approve the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Applications for the 2023 Chasco Fiesta for beer and wine to be sold in Sims Park as detailed in the discussion portion on this agenda item.
