REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the re-appointment of Robert Marin to the Police Pension Board.
DISCUSSION:
On May 3, 2022, City Council appointed Mr. Robert Marin to fill the remaining term of previous Police Pension Board trustee, Al Renedo, who moved out of the city limits. The term expired on February 5, 2023 therefore Mr. Marin has submitted his application seeking re-appointment to the Board. If approved, Mr. Marin's term will be for four years and will be up for renewal on February 5, 2027 .
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the re-appointment of Robert Marin to the Police Pension Board as submitted and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
