REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Renee Tyner to the Library Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
On March 7, 2023 Renee Tyner submitted an application seeking membership on the City's Library Advisory Board. If approved, Ms. Tyner's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on April 6, 2026. Staff has verified that Ms. Tyner meets the requirements set forth in the ordinance to serve on this board. With Ms. Tyner's appointment, that leaves one city-resident member position open on the board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Renee Tyner to the Library Advisory Board and accept the updated membership roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
