REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the re-appointment of Louis Parrillo to the Land Development Review Board.
DISCUSSION:
As Council is aware, Louis Parrillo has been a member of the Land Development Review Board for many years. Mr. Parrillo's current term expires on May 6, 2023 therefore he has submitted his application seeking re-appointment to the Board. If approved, Parillo's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on May 6, 2026. It should be noted that Mr. Parrillo stated on his re-appointment application that he will be away from the city June through September. There are currently enough members on the Board to meet the quorum requirements with Mr. Parillo's scheduled absence.
With this re-appointment, that leaves one alternate member position open on the Board as Mayor Davis served as an alternate member but resigned after the municipal election.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the re-appointment of Louis Parrillo to the Land Development Review Board and accept the updated membership roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
