RE:Board Re-Appointments: Ronald Becker and Joan Nelson Hook, Library Advisory Board

REQUEST:

The request is for City Council to approve the re-appointments of Ronald Becker and Joan Nelson Hook to the Library Advisory Board.



DISCUSSION:

Mr. Ronald Becker has been a member of the Library Advisory Board since June of 2020 and currently serves as Chair. Mr. Becker's current term is due to expire on June 16, 2023 therefore he has submitted his application seeking re-appointment to the Board. If approved, Mr. Becker's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on June 16, 2026.

 

Mrs. Joan Nelson Hook has been a member of the Library Advisory Board since June of 2014 and previously served as Chair. Mrs. Hook's current term is due to expire on June 3, 2023 therefore she has submitted her application seeking re-appointment to the Board. If approved, Mrs. Hook's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on June 3, 2026.

 

 



RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the re-appointments of Ronald Becker and Joan Nelson Hook to the Library Advisory Board and accept the updated membership roster.

No funding is required for this item.
