RE:Second Reading, Ordinance No. 2023-2274: Rezoning of +/-1.36 Acres on Orchid Lake Road

REQUEST:

The request is for City Council to approve the rezoning request for property located at the northeast corner of Orchid Lake Road and Congress Street from C-2 to Light Industrial.



DISCUSSION
:

The subject property has a Future Land Use of Light Industrial and is surrounded by commercial and industrial uses.  The proposed use is an office and manufacturing/warehouse for medical equipment.

 

The City Council reviewed the merits of this request and voted to approve the rezoning during the First Reading at a public hearing on April 18, 2023.



RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends review and approval of the rezoning as presented in the second reading of this Ordinance.

No funding is required for this item.
