REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Thomas O'Neill to the Environmental Committee.
DISCUSSION:
On March 23, 2023, Mr. Thomas O'Neill submitted his application seeking membership on the Environmental Committee. As Council is aware, Mr. O'Neill served the residents of our city for many years both as the Public Works Director and City Manager. If approved, Mr. O'Neill's term will be for two years and will be up for renewal on May 16, 2025. Staff has verified that Mr. O'Neill meets the requirements to serve on this committee. With this appointment, that leaves two alternate member positions open on the committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Thomas O'Neill to the Environmental Committee as submitted and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
