REQUEST:
Staff requests that City Council review the proposed Parks and Recreation Board resignation, advancement, membership application, and roster.
DISCUSSION:
The Parks and Recreation Department was recently advised of the resignation of Mike Copeland from the Parks and Recreation Board, and accordingly, has moved first-alternate Ms. Joy Phillips into the vacant full-member position. This results in two alternate-position vacancies on the Advisory Board. Parks and Recreation also received an application from Ms. Dana Suiters for any vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that Mr. Copeland's resignation, Ms. Phillips's advancement, Ms. Suiter's application, and the revised Parks and Recreation Board roster be accepted by City Council.
