Attached for review and consideration by City Council is Task Order No. 1 in the not to exceed amount of thirty-nine thousand eight hundred twenty-six dollars and eighty-eight cents ($39,826.88) from Environmental Consulting and Technology, Inc. for the design of the 2015/2016 Stormwater System Improvements Project.

This proposed stormwater project incorporates recommended improvements to the City's existing stormwater system in accordance with the City's current Stormwater Master Drainage Plan 10-Year Update.  Project elements include the construction of a stormwater pond and overflow structure at 6251 Delaware Avenue, stormwater system expansion on Florida Avenue by the Chasco Inn Downtown, inlet and outfall improvements on Riverview Drive, inlet installations at Maple Street and Meadowlane Street, and finally, inlet and system expansion on Missouri Ave. at Madison Street.

Environmental Consulting and Technology, Inc. is located in Tampa Florida and has been in business since 1988.  Their expertise is in utility design and environmental technology.  They were one of two firms the City currently has continuing service agreements with for this type of construction design.  References have been verified and task order pricing is in accordance with industry standards.
