REQUEST:
The request of staff for Council is for the review and approval of the attached Utility Service Agreement between the City and R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, Inc. for the Site Development located on the northwest corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Osteen Road.
DISCUSSION:
The Site Development, when fully constructed, will consist of a 12,320 square foot office and a 24,000 square foot warehouse. The Development Site location is outside the City Limits but it is within the City's utility service area boundary. The proposed location for the project is depicted on the attached map. Construction of the Development and execution of the utility agreement will require the City to provide water and sewer service for the development. The Developer shall bear all costs associated connecting into the City's existing utility systems.
The attached Utility Service Agreement is identical to those utilized in the past for similar developments in the unincorporated City Utility Service Area.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Utility Service Agreement is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
