REQUEST: The request before City Council is to review and approve the 2016 Alcoholic Beverage Special Event for Chasco Fiesta, Inc.
DISCUSSION: The Special Event Team met on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 to review the request for an Alcoholic Beverage Special Event to be held in Sims Park called Chasco Fiesta. Chasco Fiesta is a nine day event with beer and wines sales taking place on Thursday, April 7th from 5:00p.m. - 11:00p.m., Friday, April 8th from 5:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. and Saturday, April 9th from 12:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. A site map that identifies the location of the beer and wine sales is in the attached application.
RECOMMENDATION: The recommendation before City Council is to approve the Chasco Fiesta Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Permit for Chasco Fiesta, Inc. to be held in Sims Park from April 7 - 9, 2016.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: The estimated cost for materials and rental fees is $2,888. to be paid by the applicant. The estimated cost for city services is $39,956. to be provided as in-kind services from the City. | | | |
