REQUEST:
The request of staff for Council is to review and consider for the approval the Deductive Change Order in the amount of five thousand, nine hundred fifty dollars, and zero cents ($5,950.00) and the Final Pay Request in the amount of thirty-nine thousand, five hundred fifty dollars and zero cents $39,550.00 from VNP Painting Company for the pressure cleaning and exterior painting at City Hall, the Library, and Fire Station One (1).
DISCUSSION:
As Council may recall, this project is part of the City's Facilities Management Division's effort to identify needed building improvements at the City Hall Complex, the Library, and Fire Station One (1). HVAC upgrades, roof replacements, and several other upgrades have been made subsequent to the pressure washing, caulking, and exterior painting of the facilities. This project began on February 26, 2016 and has been completed under budget and prior to the 90 day contract time limit designated as May 19, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the deductive change order and final pay request is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this project is identified as Penny for Pasco (2) Tax dollars. | | | |
