This project is one of several multi-use paths included in the City's Capital Improvement Program. Once all phases have been completed, a continuous multi-use path will connect to the existing trail located on US Hwy 19 at Marine Pkwy, proceed through the Downtown/Sims Park area, and finally connect to the existing Starkey Trail located at Massachusetts Ave. and Congress St. The project design calls out for the construction of a 10' wide multi-use path with proposed amenities incorporated into the path's design that would include decorative street lighting, landscaping, irrigation installation, bus stop pads and benches.
